A critical dimension sets a minimum release pathway. If any critical dimension is scored High (3), the release is at least a Managed release, regardless of its overall score.
The default critical dimensions are (Data & migration, Implementation complexity, and Delivery risk).These are a good starting point for platform-heavy SaaS, but your organisation may have different areas of critical risk.
Select the dimensions where a High score should trigger additional release coordination. For example, you might choose Commercial impact for a billing-critical product or Customer trust risk where reputation is particularly important.
