About the tool
The Change Readiness Check is a lightweight diagnostic tool that takes an upcoming change, a release, a reorganisation, a new way of working, and tests whether the organisation around it is actually set up to absorb it, before that gap turns into resistance or rework.
The goal isn't to judge the change itself. It's to surface whether the conditions around it are actually there.
01 路 Ownership
Readiness starts with accountability. Is there one person clearly responsible for making this change happen, and do the people involved know what they're each on the hook for?
02 路 Visibility
Readiness needs context, not just communication. Do the people affected understand what's changing, why, when, and what it means for them?
03 路 Decision-making
Readiness depends on knowing who decides. If something needs to shift midway, is it clear who can make that call, and have the likely trade-offs already been talked through?
04 路 Downstream involvement
Readiness means preparation, not notification. Have the people who'll operate this change had a chance to shape it, or only been told about it?
05 路 Response capacity
Readiness includes what happens if it doesn't go to plan. Is there room to respond if reality doesn't match expectations, or is everyone already stretched?
